Lola: 4 Months

Lola is 4 months old now. She's growing so quick! She's been in Puppy Kindergarten the last 4 weeks, and has 1 more week left. She loves socializing with all the other puppies, and is a quick learner with all the commands. She's learned: Heel, Sit, Stay, Down, Sit-Stay, Down-Stay, Halt & Sit, and Here. She's fetching the frisbee at the park (although not in the air yet - coming soon), and loves going on walks.

Kitchen final touches

This was our project last weekend: change the color in the kitchen, finish the final touches of paint around the new windows, and finish the door jam for the kitchen/garage door. Well - we did it all. Maureen was right, changing the color of the kitchen from blue, to the sage color in the dining room openend the kitchen up & made it feel more connected to the rest of the space. It works well with the cream and just looks great. At the end of the whole thing, Ed was just as tired as Lola pictured here.

First Day of Puppy Kindergarten

Yesterday was our first Puppy Kindergarten class taught through the City of Lakewood & partnered with Dog Services Unlimited(dogservicesunlimited.com). Lola did very well. The instructor spoke with us after class and mentioned that Lola had a great disposition, seemed very smart, was eager to please, and was a "stand-out" student. Of course she was! ahah Was a fun time, and we have 4 more weeks left in the class. She's going to learn everything from Heel, Sit, Stay, to working with her off-lead.
